NYX And Medusa's Make up Haul

I ordered another lovely package from Cocktail Cosmetics last week ....i place my order on a Tuesday and it was at my house by the following Thurday!! Super speedy!! :D

Ive been after an NYX Jumbo pencil for a while ...finally got round to ordering one so thought id get two  so i can have a proper play about with them, They are £2.95 each.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' and 'Yellow'

I had never heard of Medusas make up until i seen it pop up on the cocktail cosmetics website so i spent many hours searching the web for as many reviews/swatches as i could find, i do this with most new products before buying unless its a company im very familiar with, I was very impressed with what i seen so i picked out a 4 shades in the mineral eye dust just to play with and see how much i liked them and so far i am very impressed!

L-R 'Wasabe', 'Coral Reef', 'New Wave', 'Rising Sun'.

I must admit choosing just 4 was pretty hard as there is an amazing selection of colours and they all look so good! For £3.95 you get 1.5g of product and a little goes a long way ...To view the rest of the Medusas Make Up collection click HERE

Hair style of the day :)

I like to spend some time each morning making an effort for work but a lot of the time i can be quite rused so when i do i dont always get the chance to take pictures but today as i was super pleased with how my hair turned out i snapped a couple of pics whilst at work.

Apologies as they were taken on the front camera of my iphone4...yes its not the greatest but its better than nothing and i will try take a few more as im pushed for time on an evening to do looks!

I get it trimmed every 6 weeks but it usually just gets tied back for work as its at that length were its too short to do the amazing things id like to with it as once i straighten it i find it falls pretty flat.

The night before i blow dried my hair upside down to give it extra big volume then just curled random big chunks with my straighteners in the morning :D

i wear glasses all the time but just took them off for the above pic :)

Theres no good pic of the eyes but i just kept them simple using the Urban decay Naked palette and some liquid eyeliner.

Sleek MakeUp Paraguaya Palette

Ill admit i am a bit late hopping on the 'New Sleek palette review' bandwagon but better late than never i guess!! I know theres loaaads flying around in blog world so i will keep mine short and sweet :)

This Paraguaya palette, costing just £6.99, comes as part of the Avoir La Peche collection which also has a blush and pout polish, it can be viewed and purchased online HERE and they are also available to purchase from most Superdrug stores
It comes with the usual sleek palette packaging which does look very nice but i personally think it would be even nicer if each palette they released came in a different colour..i have almost every sleek eyeshadow palette and as there almost all black finding the one i want can be a bit of a pain!

From L-R Parfait, Blush, Cameo, Persian Orange, Peach Gold, Sandstone,
Bellini, Redstone, Persimmon, Tangelo, Bittersweet, Stone.
Overall i cant say im incredibly carried away with this palette, To look at al the shades are beautiful but i find the matte shades, particularly Cameo, Sandstone and Bittersweet very chalky and hard to work with but on a good note the shimmer shades in this palette are gorgeous!! Persian orange and Peach gold are BEAUTIFUL! ...I do find that the rest of the palette lets these two beauties down a tad but ill keep working with it and see what i can come up with.
