Christmas Fun :)

Tuesday 30th November my beautiful mother, best friend & i went along to the Leeds Harvey Nichols in-store christmas event. Tickets were £10 each and this was redeemable against any item on the Beauty & Accessories floor.

Due to the amazing british weather i didn't think id be able to make it if the snow was too bad but thankfully it held of and we made it there in one piece. As id never been to anything like this before i didn't quite know what to expect but in all honesty it wasn't as amazing as id initially thought.

There were a variety of make up/fashion demonstrations and prize giveaways, the individual counters were either doing make overs or special offers on products (there was a leaflet with all that info on but ive misplaced mine)

I Decided to ask to try the bareMinerals foundation as ive heard good thing about their products but never tried any...the foundation gave greaaat coverage and was contemplating buying a starter pack but then my skin started to feel really tight and dry which instantly put me off...thankfully my mum brought baby wipes along (i love how mums manage to carry pretty much EVERYTHING with them)

I then went on to get a complimentary make over from YSL and fell in love with there new Conplexion Palette it is easily one of the most beautiful highlights i have ever seen with a nice price tag to go with it!!

When it came to leave everyone received a goody bag with a variety of perfumes/aftershaves, moisuriser, a foundation sample, and bath milk ..i was particularly thrilled by the sample of Marc Jacobs BANG which is just the sexiest aftershave ever and yes i wear it myself lol
The part i struggled with the most what what to use my £10 ticket on as i was in that slightly spoilt for choice/didnt really NEED anything dilema so i settled for a Nars Duo eyeshadow as its something iv fancied for a while but the price put me off...over much deliberation i chose Kuala Lumpur... a sort of peachy golden colour & a plum, i swatched the colours but found it hard to capture the true beauty of the colours so a look with soon follow.
